It is an immense privilege to create people’s homes, shops and gardens in cut paper collage each day. Every scene I create depicts a snapshot in time and has a story to tell, and they are usually commissioned to mark a special occasion; from anniversaries, to birthdays, house moves to commemorations.

Each collage is meticulously created from tiny pieces of salvaged paper and are highly personalised, featuring people, pets and artefacts significant to the recipient. Some clients have described their finished artwork as an heirloom piece.

The commission process begins with a phonecall, email or, depending on your location, a home visit to discuss your bespoke collage artwork. A selection of photos is collated of your home and all you would like included.

The making process takes days, sometimes weeks. I use a selection of salvaged paper such as discarded magazines, old gift wrap, vintage dress pattern paper and used postage stamps to create the artwork. Everything is cut by hand, using a scalpel and fixed down with glue.

The size of each artwork is discussed from the outset and typically ranges from A3 to A1.

The completed artwork is mounted on 1250 microgram heavyweight artboard and comes unframed.
